NAVIC is a Mecatech project in collaboration with Lasea, exploring the use of a new type of laser and optimisation of machining parameters for both existing and newly developed laser systems. The project focuses on modelling laser–material interactions through theoretical approaches combined with laboratory experiments conducted by Lasea. Sagacify contributes by developing algorithms that optimize laser parameters, enabling more precise and efficient machine configuration. This work improves machine quality and significantly reduces setup time, strengthening Lasea’s industrial performance.
This research project is co-funded by the Walloon Region and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/FEDER).
