CISTEMEEC is a Walloon Recovery Plan project bringing together multiple stakeholders around the COMET group to establish a complete value chain for end-of-life batteries from electric vehicles, soft mobility and electronic waste in Wallonia. The objective is to ensure efficient collection, sorting, reuse and recycling of used batteries at regional scale. Sagacify contributes by accelerating battery diagnostics using artificial intelligence to sort batteries, assess their physical integrity, and determine whether they should be reused or recycled. This enables sufficient processing capacity to make the value chain economically viable and operationally efficient.
